Autopatch Instructions

The LoCoARC autopatch is open to all members.  The primary purpose of the LoCoARC autopatch is to provided for emergency communications between the amateur radio community and the Lowndes E-911 center.   Please use it for local calls only. 

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE 146.625 AUTOPATCH  

KEY 400 for the TIME OF DAY.

 KEY 375 for DTMF KEYPAD TEST.  (375 or 345?)

EXAMPLE: Key 3451234567890 and the repeater will announce

KEYPAD TEST and return 1234567890

KEY * for the autopatch access code

EXAMPLE: to call the number 555-1234, Key *5551234. DO NOT USE * 6

KEY # to disconnect the AUTOPATCH.

KEY 6 for user speed dial code.

Example: to call a member whose speed dial number is 36, key 636. When finished, key #. The repeater will announce autopatch complete and ask you to please identify.

Reverse autopatch: to place a call from a telephone to a user, dial 329-5296. Wait for a beep. After the beep, enter 800XX#. Where XX is the speed dial number.

Example: you want to call kf4ywv on reverse patch. His speed dial slot is 03.

Dial 329-5296, wait for the beep, then enter 800 03#.

The controller will announce the following: �call for kf4ywv� if no answers after a minute, the controller will terminate the call. No control code is required from the telephone side. When finished with a conversation, simply hang up the telephone.

Answer a call request: key 800.

Example: someone places a call to kf4ywv on reverse autopatch. The controller will announce call for kf4ywv. To answer the call, kb4ecy must enter 800. Anyone can answer any call. Just enter 800. When the caller hangs up, the controller will terminate the telephone connection.

Emergency programmed numbers: *911= 911 / *902= E911 office
